Lone Star Delights and Project Graduation Team up for $UCCE$$!!!
It represented lots of work--both at the Lone Star Delights kettle corn booths at BudaFest and at the Buda Trail of Lights--but the ultimate reward was certainly worth it . Spinning off of the excitement of the grand opening of Lone Star Delights on Front Street in Kyle, the Hays High School Project Graduation committee accepted a check for $2758 from business owners (and boosters) Mary and Chris Halenza. The Halenzas and the HHS Project Graduation team had cooperated on a project that provided a percentage of the Halenzas' receipts from the community events in exchange for the group's labor during those events. It was a recipe for success and everyone's smiles at the hugely-attended opening was proof of it.
