If you are not able to secure a time, we will schedule additional times at a later date through our photo vendor (Lifetouch). With almost 800 seniors this year, we know we will need additional times/dates. Some of those dates will include sessions when we return to “in person learning” later in the semester.
Senior events 2020-2021 We are working to make sure our seniors have a great year! We must consider safety first in every decision, we have no other option. Our kids are that important. I would encourage everyone to be upbeat and not spread the word that their senior year has been ruined. It is way too early to make that prediction! Our kids will feed off of our energy either positive or negative.
This newsletter will always have the most updated and accurate information on school events, including senior events. We know things can't be as they always have been. Our senior leadership team has been meeting to brainstorm what we can do vs. what we can’t do for our seniors.
Our 12th grade Assistant Principal this year is Ms. Tonya Kallfelz. She can be reached at (512) 268-2911 ex46226 or email@example.com
Start of School (SOS) days- September 1 & 2Join us for our start of school (SOS) kickoff event for all grade levels. We will have our student groups perform, students can pick up devices (if previously signed up for one), see some of our awesome Hays HS teachers, return textbooks from the 2019-20 school year, Class of 2024 T-shirts handed out, pick up yearbooks (pre-purchase) and other surprises! We also have a special gift for our seniors. You won’t want to miss this event! Students are encouraged to decorate their vehicles & parents/families are encouraged to attend together. Bring your phone with a QR reader so you can get the latest info on Hays High School.
**The event is drive-up style, the building will not be open to the public, all safety precautions (ie: masks, social distancing, etc.) will be followed by our staff & student groups that are performing.
